 1. Why rebrand from Creditinfo Jamaica Limited to EveryData Jamaica Limited now? 

While we will, at our core, remain focused on credit reporting and risk management, we have developed systems, processes, products, and solutions that are geared toward managing and utilizing data to advance organizational efficiencies in this increasingly digital era.  We, therefore, are announcing this expanded facet of our operations through this name change and rebranding.  In essence, we are now more than just a Credit Bureau! 

2. Why the name EveryData? 

Building on our many years of experience in the market for data analytics, we have been able to collect information about borrowers’ credit behavior.  Consequently, we are now poised to provide ‘Every Data’ that can help financial institutions reduce risks, enhance profitability and, consequently, make products more effective for consumers. 

3. What does this mean for people seeking to apply for credit reports?

5. What does this mean for your management structure? 

There will be no changes in our management structure or our board and governance structures.  There will also be no change in ownership.  All existing agreements will also remain valid and all application links will remain the same. 

6. What does a credit bureau do? 

Credit bureaus provide some of the information creditors and lenders use to help them make important lending decisions. While credit bureaus collect credit information in order to make it available to certain third parties, the decision to deny or approve someone’s credit ultimately lies with the lender or creditor. Creditinfo Jamaica Limited now known as EveryData Jamaica Limited is 100% owned by a holding company located in the Cayman Islands called StoneCoCI LTD, which also owns credit bureaus in Guyana, Barbados, and Eastern Caribbean Islands.
